MissouriBoatInsurance.com ("we," "us") is a marketing and referral website that connects Missouri boat owners with licensed insurance agents. This policy explains what information we collect through this site, how we use it, and the choices you have.
What we collect
- Quote request details you provide: name, phone number, email address, home ZIP code, boat type, approximate boat value, where you primarily boat, current insurance status, and coverage timing.
- Consent record: whether you checked the consent box, the version of the consent language you agreed to, and the submission timestamp.
- Usage analytics: we use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site (pages viewed, form steps reached, general location, device type). Your name, phone number, and email address are never sent to Google Analytics.
- Basic technical logs: our hosting provider may log standard technical data (such as IP address and browser type) as part of operating the site.
How we use it
- To deliver your quote request to the licensed Missouri insurance agent handling your request, who will contact you as described in the consent language on the form.
- To keep a record of your request and consent (delivered to our internal notification channel and our form host's submission log).
- To understand and improve how the site performs, using the analytics described above.
- To respond if you contact us with a question or request.
What we don't do
- We do not sell your information to third-party lead lists or data brokers.
- We do not share your request with multiple competing buyers — your request goes to the licensed agent handling it.
Service providers
We use a small number of tools to operate the site and deliver your request: our web host (which also logs form submissions as a backup), Slack (which delivers the notification of your request to us and the receiving agent), and Google Analytics (usage statistics only, as described above). These providers process your information only to provide those services.
Retention
We keep quote request records for as long as needed to service the request and maintain a record of consent, and then for legitimate business and legal record-keeping purposes.
Your choices
- Opt out of contact: tell the agent who contacts you, reply STOP to any text, or use the unsubscribe option in any email.
- Access or deletion: email us at rob@phonehomeleads.com and we will handle your request.
- Analytics: you can block analytics with standard browser tools or extensions; the quote form works the same either way.
Children
This site is intended for adults and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will update this page and the effective date above.
